RESULTS

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in the operating room can also come from mixing bone cements and waste anesthetic gases.

AeroCure Vac reduces VOC levels (ppm) generated during the mixing of bone cement at distances of 3 – 14 in away from the source, with a 97% reduction observed at 3 in. and a 75% reduction at 14 in.2

Prefiltration: The disposable, one time use, sterile filter drape traps large droplets, with MERV 11 filtration rating. The plastic drape body also protects the semirigid tube from surface contamination and potential patient to patient spreading.

 

ULPA Filtration: Utilizes an ULPA filter which allows the removal of smaller particles (0.3 µm) and at a higher rate (99.9997%) than HEPA.
