The International Respiratory Infections Society (IRIS) and Aerobiotix announce that San Dimas Community Hospital, San Dimas, California, has received the IRIS Healthcare Air Quality Seal of Recognition. The program recognizes healthcare organizations that maintain strong air quality practices, with particular attention to surgical environments where cleaner air supports safer care.

The IRIS Healthcare Air Quality Seal of Recognition includes a detailed evaluation of a facility’s air quality practices, contaminant control measures, and related protocols. As part of the process, healthcare facilities complete a thorough review and an on-site audit conducted by certified infection prevention specialists. Earning this recognition reflects focused work to maintain a care environment that supports patients, clinicians, and staff.

San Dimas Community Hospital is part of Prime Healthcare, one of the nation’s largest health systems. The hospital provides personalized, high-quality care across a broad range of services, including 24-hour emergency care, Primary Stroke Center services, orthopedic surgery, advanced diagnostic services, and general surgery.

San Dimas Community Hospital has received multiple recognitions for quality and patient safety, including “100 Top Hospital” recognition, the Women’s Choice Award for America’s Best Hospitals for Patient Safety, Healthgrades’ Patient Safety Excellence Award, and orthopedic care recognition. In 2024, the hospital was also named a “Favorite Hospital” by readers of the San Gabriel Valley Tribune and Inland Valley Daily Bulletin. In 2025, it earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group.
